ENERGY & SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES
- 1.8 Megawatt Photovoltaic (PV) systems have been installed to provide renewable energy for the building.
- 120,000 SF of PV canopy and rooftop systems provide shading for the building and parking stalls resulting in significant savings in cooling cost.
- Combined safety and solar window films have been installed throughout the building.
- New super-efficient cooling towers.
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) on cooling tower fans and pumps in addition to large heat pumps.
- Old cooling systems have been replaced with new high-efficiency systems.
- Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) has been installed for the common areas.
- Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems have been installed in various locations for optimal control of the cooling systems.
- Power factor correction and power conditioning system.
- Retrofitting building with high-efficiency LED lighting fixtures.
- Lighting motion sensors in common areas.
- Rooftop parking reduces sun and heat load on the building.
- Installation and retrofit of low-flow toilets throughout the building.
- The automatic make-up water system for the cooling towers reduces water consumption.
- Active recycling program have been implemented for the building.
